Our History
Inergi Design Services began as a product design and exhibit group within Huntsville’s Intergraph Corporation in 1998. Two years later, in August of 2000, the employees of the Inergi group moved out on their own by purchasing the division from Intergraph. The young company set off with a valuable array of proven ability in exhibit design, model making, rapid prototyping, and product design. With a rich mix of entrepreneurial spirit and professional talent, the business relocated and has thrived in it’s current home in the historic 1920’s-era Martin Industries building on Governor’s Drive. The facility suited Inergi’s needs well, with an impressive 120,000 square feet of space, six loading docks, and ample, secure storage. Led by President and CEO Greg Sollie, Inergi is experiencing an exciting period of unprecedented growth.
Two subsidiary partners have come on board in recent years, bringing with them even more creative and technical energy − Design Force, specializing in museum exhibit design, and the interactive media and graphics design company, Somerset Group.
